Arnold Highfield Will Read His New Poems at Undercover Books

Arnold Highfield will read and discuss poems from his newly released book, "Under a Taino Moon," from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, at Undercover Books & Gifts in Gallows Bay. After his reading, he will meet customers for a book signing.
He is professor emeritus of social sciences and linguistics on the St. Croix Campus of the University of Virgin Islands. He has published an earlier volume of verse, "An Archaeology of Names." In addition, he has published verse in a number of journals, including The Caribbean Writer, Ethos, The Lyricist, Kruispunt, Yellow Cedars Blooming and Seasoning for the Mortar, to name just a few.
