UVI Board of Trustees to Meet on Saturday, Oct. 21

University of the Virgin Islands – St. Thomas Campus

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. Due to the challenges associated with hurricane recovery, the trustees meeting will be held in the following locations:

  • Administration and Conference Center, third-floor conference room, on the St. Thomas Campus
  • Evans Center Room 302 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix
  • Via teleconference

The meeting will begin with regular session agenda items. UVI President David Hall will present the President’s Report. He will be followed by Board Chairman Henry Smock with the Chairman’s Comments. Then the board will consider other agenda items.

The Development Committee will present a status report on fundraising and act on the fundraising goal and the alumni participation goal for fiscal year 2018.

The board will also hear a presentation from the Finance and Budget Committee and act on the Fiscal Year 2018 operating budget.

Then it will go into executive session and will report any actions taken in executive session before being adjourned.
