The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) informs the St. Croix community that the Mon Bijou bin site was closed on Wednesday, Oct. 11, for cleaning and reorganization. It will reopen a day earlier than expected. It will open Friday, Oct. 13, instead of Saturday, Oct. 14.
The public is advised to use the bin sites located at Cotton Valley, Concordia and the Peter’s Rest Convenience Center.
VIWMA reminds residents to place household wastes directly in the bins, not in the surrounding area.
