GVI: Processing of Payrolls on Hold Until Hurricane Maria Passes

Government of the United States Virgin Islands

As recovery efforts continue in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and preparations for the threat of Hurricane Maria, Department of Finance Commissioner Valdamier Collens advises agencies and departments that all payroll processing in the STATS and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) will be on hold until after Hurricane Maria passes.

As such, the Department of Finance will process a Straight-80 Payroll for Sept. 28th pay date. Accordingly, after the storm passes, miscellaneous pay vouchers must be prepared by departments and agencies and then submitted to the Department of Finance (Payroll Division) for those employees that require adjustments.

Finance understands that normal means of communications are extremely difficult now; however, as soon as it is back online, notification will be sent.
