St. Croix Educational Complex H.S. Schedules Orientation for 2017-2018 School Year

The St. Croix Educational Complex High School has announced its final orientation session for the 2017–2018 school year to be held on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 9 a.m. in the school auditorium. This orientation is mandatory for all students who did not attend the sessions in May/June.

Students are asked to present their immunization records and pay required school fees, including $15 for photo ID, $18 for school accident insurance, $10 for PTSA dues, $25 for Physical Education (PE) uniform set, $10 for lockers (optional). Polos for Magnet students are $25 and students in grades 9 – 11 are welcome to purchase school jackets for $45/ $50 for seniors.

Families who do not wish to purchase school accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered.

Arthur A. Richards Jr. H.S. Schedules Orientation for 2017-2018 School Year

The Arthur A. Richards Junior High School has announced its mandatory orientation sessions for the 2017-18 school year that will be held in the school’s cafeteria.

During the designated times, students are asked to present their immunization records and pay required school fees, including $15 for photo ID, $18 for school accident insurance and $30 for Physical Education (PE) uniforms. Families who do not wish to purchase school accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered.

8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Grade 7

Noon – 2 p.m. Grade 8

All students must be fully dressed in their school uniform and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The school’s Dress Code Policy is as follows:

Girls are to be dressed in navy blue fully pleated skirts that touch the knees, white front buttoned blouses with sleeves and collars including polo shirts (no frills or ornamentation), dark colored shoes and sneakers.

Boys are to be dressed in navy blue pants (no faded jeans), white front buttoned shirts including polo shirts with collars, dark colored shoes and sneakers.

Claude O. Markoe Elementary School Schedules Orientations for 2017-18 School Year

The Claude O. Markoe Elementary School has announced its orientation session for all incoming Kindergarteners and new or transfer students on Thursday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. –11 a.m. in the school cafeteria.

Parents or guardians are asked to present their immunization records for students and pay required school fees, including $18 for school accident insurance and $25 for Physical Education (PE) uniform set. Families who do not wish to purchase school accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered.

The orientation will address all school rules and policies for a successful school year.

Ricardo Richards Elementary Plans School Orientation for New School Year

The Ricardo Richards Elementary School will hold its orientation session for students in grades 1 – 6, to include new and transfer students, at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, in the school cafeteria.

Parents or guardians are asked to present immunization records for students and pay required school fees, which include $18 for school accident insurance and $21 for a physical education (PE) uniform set. Families who do not wish to purchase school accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered.

The orientation will address all school rules and policies for a successful school year.

Alexander Henderson Elementary Plans Orientation Session for School Year 2017-2018

The Alexander Henderson Elementary School will hold its mandatory orientation session for all incoming kindergarteners and new/transfer students from 9-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, in the school cafeteria.

Parents or guardians are asked to present their immunization records for students and pay required school fees, which include $18 for school accident insurance and $25 for a physical education (PE) uniform set ($27 for adult sizes). Families who do not wish to purchase school accident insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered.

The orientation will address all school rules and policies for a successful school year.

Alfredo Andrews Elementary School Schedules Orientation for 2017-2018 School Year

The Alfredo Andrews Elementary School has announced its orientation session for parents of all K – 6 grade students (to include new/transfer students). It will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 1, in the school auditorium.

The orientation will address all school rules and policies for a successful school year. Students are not required to be in attendance.  A bulletin with important information, including school fees, will be distributed at the beginning the school year.
