Police Seek Information on Homicide Suspect

The VIPD is looking for 20-year-old Samuel ‘Ghost’ Roberts.

Five months after they first issued a call for Samuel “Ghost” Roberts, the V.I. Police Department again issued a call for information leading to his arrest in a homicide case, repeating the warning they issued in February when they called him “armed and dangerous.”

According to the police, Roberts is a “person of interest” in a homicide. The news release didn’t include any information about the crime he is alleged to have been involved in.

Roberts, who goes by the alias “Ghost,” is a black male who stands between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches. He weighs about 150 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and a low haircut. He is said to frequent Lorraine village, Mutual Homes, Estate Tortola, all located in Grove Place.

The police issued two calls to the public seeking information about Roberts’whereabout in February.

Police reiterated that Roberts is armed and dangerous. They urged anyone who comes in contact with him to call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-778-2211, the 911 emergency call service, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.

“Crime Stoppers will give you up to $2,500 cash reward leading to an arrest of a wanted suspect or person of interest,” the police said.

The VIPD also reminded the pubic that anyone harboring a fugitive will be arrested and brought up charges.
