Girls U-15 and U-17 National Soccer Team to Train at Mini Camp

USVI Girls Under-15 and Under-17 National Team is preparing for the upcoming Caribbean leg of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be held in August 2017 at a venue to be announced.

The USVI Soccer Association will host a mini soccer camp May 26-29 on St. Thomas as preparation for the tournament. The camp will be held at the University of the Virgin Islands soccer field with the soccer association. Izler Browne, the women’s technical development officer and head coach, will be conducting the training sessions. The camp will consist of Girls U-15 and Girls U-17 from St. Croix and St. Thomas.

The planned practice time is 5-6:30 p.m., Friday, May 26; the practice times are 9-11 a.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28; and the practice time is 9-11 a.m., Monday, May 29.
