Richard William Allen Sr. died on May 2.
He is survived by his spouse, Janice Allen; daughters: Donna Blair, Dawn Allen and Dina Allen; son, Richard W. Allen Jr.; grandchildren: Jaeden Davis, Heaven-Leigh Allen and Jonathan Blair; brother, Denzil Allen; sisters: Eunice Morgan and Ethlyn Chalmers; special nephew, Emmanuel Osborne; aunt-in-law, Emelda Joseph; uncles-in-law: Alfred “Papy” Joseph and Errol Joseph; and brothers-in-law: Alfred Joseph, Conrad Joseph, Jean Joseph and Edmund Joseph.
He is also survived by son-in-law, John “Jay” Blair; daughter-in-law, Pricilla Allen; mother-in-law, Mary Alice Allen; special cousins: Wendell, Bruce and Barry; special friends: James Rodney, John Osborne, Charles Reed, the Reed family, Sam Harris, Milton Molyneaux, Skipper, Prince Joseph, Joseph Dyer, Syfor, friends from Frederiksted; extended family: Kameel Allen and Kwame Allen; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 3 p.m. and a funeral service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, at Divine Funeral Services. There will be no interment.
