Human Services Relocates SNAP and MAP Offices

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, aka the Food Stamps Program) and the Medicaid Assistance Program (MAP) have relocated their main offices, according to the V.I. Department of Human Services  

“This move is an effort to better serve the needs our clients and an overall effort on budgeting and managing our resources more efficiently,” said Commissioner Designee Felecia Blyden.

Effective Monday, April 24, the SNAP and MAP offices moved from 3011 Golden Rock, Christiansted to 41B Mars Hill, Frederiksted. 

Clients seeking the Energy Crisis Assistance Program (ECAP) will continue to receive services at the Golden Rock location. SNAP and Medicaid applications will also remain available at Golden Rock.
