Claudette I. Morton of Sion Farm died on April 6. She was 68 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Reneé Trotman and Suenic Goodridge; son, Delroy Richards Jr.; grandchildren: Aaryn Russell, Briana Williams, Kyndal Russell, Kayla Joseph, Tyler Archibald, Devaughn Richards and Kayden Samuel; sister, Cheryl Wilson; nieces: Marie Morton-Williams, Tamika James, Tamara James and Desiree Wilson; nephews: Tyrone Delano Wilson Jr. and Charles Morton III; 5 great nieces; 10 great nephews; and daughter-in-law: Stacie Richards.
She is also survived by godchildren: Sumintra “Sue” Ramlal-Brown, Shanta James, Indira Ramlal, Latoya Nesbitt and Je’Neen McIntosh; special friends: Carmen Andrews, Cheryl Soto, Justina Rawlins, the Cartier family, the Gonzales family, the Rivera family, the Williams family, Francis Russell, Lorraine Richardson and family, Atemore Fredricks, Class of 1966, Valencia Henry and the Joseph family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that those in attendance wear festive colors.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will immediately follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
