St. Croix Volleyball League to Begin Season April 1

The 2017 Volleyball Season League will begin on April 1. The St. Croix Volleyball Association will hold an opening ceremony at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at Central High School Gym.

Rosters, insurance waivers and fees are due at the next meeting, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, at the St. Croix Curriculum Center.

The fees are: $60 Tiny Tots (ages 4-8); $80 Youth (ages 9-13); $100 Juniors (ages 13-15); $125 Seniors/Adults (ages 15-75). There will also be a $5 per player for Volleyball Federation dues.                                                                 

Rosters should be typed and returned via e-mail or hand delivered by the time of the meeting on March 21, no exceptions. The St. Croix Volleyball Association needs to have the schedule completed before the season can begin.

Amy Carter, secretary (unanimous vote by acclamation)


Gylton Brandao Da Matta, volleyball technical director and volleyball coach, will be on St. Croix at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at Central High School Gymnasium. He will be spending the rest of the week on St. Thomas, meeting and greeting coaches and players.
