V.I. to Celebrate National Agriculture Week on March 22, 23

The V.I. Department of Agriculture and the V.I. Department of Education will celebrate National Agriculture Week throughout the territory March 22 and March 23, with the theme “Agriculture: Food for Life.”

“Virgin Islands-Grown for Virgin Islands Kids Week.” All schools and the public are invited to these three events:

There will be an open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, at the Rudolph Schulterbrandt Agriculture Complex on St. Croix.

There will be a career day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, at the Gifft Hill and Julius Sprauve Schools on St John.

There will be a Market Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, March 23, at the Abbatoir on St. Thomas.
