Claude O. Markoe Elementary School on St. Croix will present a Centennial Poetry Celebration at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Café Marlin in the school auditorium. The poets will focus on Virgin Islands history and culture with a taste of the local cuisine.
The cultural event is coordinated by Claude O. Markoe’s Elite Student Leaders.
Community members are invited to come out and appreciate Virgin Islands culture from the students’ point of view.
